Our Story

It began with a garden in Sonoma County.

Velaire started in 2021 on a half-acre plot of calendula, chamomile, and heirloom roses. Our founder, a third-generation herbalist, spent two years distilling family remedies into formulas that hold up to modern dermatological standards.

Today we still grow many of our own botanicals, partner with regenerative farms along the California coast, and blend everything by hand in batches of two hundred — never more.
